XL Embroidered Amazon Mochila Bag

Our Embroidered Amazonas Mochila Bag is handwoven by the Uitoto tribe in the Amazon using chambira palm fiber. Its creation takes up to two months. In our atelier, it is transformed by our designer with delicate embroidery that covers only half of the base — allowing the richness of the original weave to remain visible, without sacrificing exclusivity or refinement. The intervention is completed with hand painting, solid bronze hardware, a genuine leather strap, and silk scarves and fique fringes. The colors and patterns of these pieces are exclusive to Claudia Akel, co-created with the community for this collection.
